Excellent! I just went back and replayed 1 and 2 from the olden days and then found how many more there were. This was the first of the Submachines that I had not yet played before now.

There is no doubt that this was the simplest of the first three, but there were a couple of healthy challenges... just nothing that made you really have to sit and breathe. I liked the last one (the one that... *cough*... ends the game).

Although I'm confused as to why people are taking off points for ease when they're still looking at walkthroughs.

Easily my favorite of the escape varieties, these Submachine games keep me busy for hours. This one was one of the more difficult ones, because there were several red herrings within the gameplay that were simply there for atmosphere. I really loved the einstein puzzle, that gave me a sense of accomplishment.

And even though I had already done everything, I went back and mapped the sewer system just to be sure. Old school, with a pen and paper, like I used to do with Myst. Awesome.

I'm a little confused at the low scoring. I thought that was pretty sharp, I was expecting weaker controls. Felt fairly intuitive to excite your swarm by rapidly tapping movement keys, in my opinion. Would have liked more. Pretty darn good for LD.

Very unpolished. Even a hint of a story, like just some text or a splash screen, would have been so much better than nothing. Don't seem to be any instructions for controls anywhere, either.

Not much to play after you die two or three times. But still. 48 hours.

Pretty, colorful graphics for a short presentation. Controls seemed sticky to me, although this keyboard may be on its way out. Took me a couple deaths to figure out which leaves you can and can't jump on in level 2.

Honestly though, I wish you had come out and said "This is a tribute to one of my favorite SNES games growing up". If this wasn't very directly inspired by E.V.O., then color me shocked.

*SPOILER ALERT*

This was the lowest rating I've ever given one of your games. It was enthralling with its open-endedness, and made me very curious as it progressed. The ending seemed like it was going to be awesome, then BAM. Random exit. Just too loose at the end, absolutely anything at all would have made it better than that reset.

I'm sorry, I was trying to come up with a better ending, but I ran out of time :( 48-hour competition game and all.

You awful, awful son of a bitch. I have never wanted to actually punch a game developer before. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you and your children's children's children have nightmares of the horror you've recklessly inflicted upon the public.

Took me 556 deaths to get all 40 chests and finish. Many of them were due to a very old and crummy keyboard, but AT LEAST HALF of them were due to that level where you have to jump the blob through the spiked elevator shaft. My contacts are dry from not blinking, and I had to switch between AWSD and arrows probably 20 times to give my hands a break.

5/5, outstanding platformer.

Too easy, but it was quite beautifully illustrated/animated. Music was excellent. Still a lot of fun as well.

Stellar fun. Just makes you smile.

Look at the nearest electrical socket and imagine it as a tiny screaming face. Now, try to unimagine it as a tiny screaming face. You can't. Merry Christmas.
